Autistic Ian
Since focusing on his artistic strengths, UK artist affectionately known as Autistic Ian, has gone on to sell some of his works to Michelin star restaurants and avid collectors respectively.
Ian Says:
"Unable to speak as a child, I used a pen and paper to communicate. From that and some years on, I managed to study at a famous art college, then worked 25 years in advertising as a Creative Director, managing my stammer and using my autism to great affect.Then in 2012 I had a massive mental breakdown and lost everything.
Today, some years later, I remain homeless living in bed and breakfasts when I can. All my work is created from paper, no paint. I've even managed to get a piece of my art into Gordon Ramsays house!"
